After a brief blip last week, Remind maintains his stranglehold on Zotac.Last week's Zotac cup was notable for many reasons. The biggest of those reasons was probably the fact that Sung Sik 'ReminD' Kim failed to reach the final. But the elf legend returned to the top of the Zotac tree this week by defeating last week's winner.
Remind took this week's cup by storm, not even dropping a single map on his way to victory. He overcame Mihail 'Kas' Hayda in three straight maps in the final (TM, EI, SV) and looked to be back at his best throughout the series. He even 2-0'd former teammate, Hyeong Ju 'Check' Lee in the semis to keep up his 100% record.
The winner of last week's cup put up a decent fight but had no answer to Remind's near-perfect play. The elf seemed almost telepathic in the way he countered Kas' every move. According to GosuGamer's statistics, the Korean is now some distance ahead in terms of cups won. Today's victory moves him up to 16 wins, five ahead of Manuel 'GrubbY' Schenkhuizen who only rarely competed in recent months.
