Following his return to competitive CS Tentpole (Ex-Begrip, fnatic, NiP and SK) has been interviewed by fragbite about his new team and his activities during his downtime.Fragbite have conducted an interview (in Swedish but translated into English also) with Kristoffer 'Tentpole' Nordlund of H2k Gaming . Tentpole talks about the new lineup of his team, which includes GuX and himself as new additions, along with why he came back to gaming after his inauspicious departure from SK Gaming in August of 2008.
Answering whether anything separates H2k from the top teams skill-wise Tentpole says:
Explaining how long he has been pondering a comeback the Swede answers:
Regarding how much contact he kept with CS during his time out of the spotlight the ex-SK man responds:
Tentpole's career at the top level began with his Begrip team winning season 2 of WEG in South Korea and placing 6th at CPL Winter 2005. At the beginning of the next year he and f0rest moved on to join the new fnatic lineup. Over the course of 2006 the team got stronger and stronger: a 2nd place at ESWC and a 3rds at WSVG ISC and WSVG Finals being topped only by a victory at CPL Winter. After that victory Tentpole decided to leave fnatic.
His next stop was a short return to the Begrip organization which eventually turned into a move to NiP. That proved to be during one of the weakest periods in NiP's history and despite some excellent play from Tentpole little was achieved beyond a 3rd place at a fairly weakly stacked WSVG Louisville. In September of 2007 Tentpole and walle both moved over to SK Gaming, where they reunited RobbaN, and a new era of SK began.
Tentpole's accomplishments as a member of SK included a WCG silver medal, a victory at IEM III LA, a win at DreamHack Winter 2008 and back-to-back 2nds at ESWC Cheonan and Kode5 in 2009.

Answering whether anything separates H2k from the top teams skill-wise Tentpole says:
"Haha, I'm a little worried I'll feel like an rusty old man when it's time for match-ups, however I believe we could perform as well as any team. "
Explaining how long he has been pondering a comeback the Swede answers:
"Of course you miss the competition, that's the only reason that I have kept playing for so long as I have. When I after about 5 months opened CS for the first time, I looked around for any possibilites for playing competively. I had a couple of offers but none weren't really any good, I'd say, I hope no one resents."
Regarding how much contact he kept with CS during his time out of the spotlight the ex-SK man responds:
"After some vacation with my close ones I started looking for a job and it didn't take me more than 2 days to get my first job interview. That was really the only thing I needed so after a week or so I was in for some good old-fashioned working.
I didn't play a second for some 5 months and that's not something that I'm just saying. I just didn't have any motivation, I enjoyed escaping from CS for a while. I followed some of the big events and watched some matches on HLTV, but I didn't really prioritize that. However, it's always fun to watch good matches!"

gl to h2k, can't wait to see some matches
Can someone explain to me the "camp...sorry...Blank" ? I don't get it.
Snajdan was the ingame leader for his old team Blank (Gux niko face Jumpy) and they were known to play extremely slow. They were basically waiting for the opponents to aggro until there was around 30 seconds or less of the round left, hence the camp...sorry...Blank thingy :)
veeeeery nice!!!!
i love it...
