ImageOne of Finland's most famous and oldest active players, natu, has once more entered the competitive fray to play with a collection of Finnish talent in Soltec.

Following Power Gaming disbanding due to most of their team undergoing enforced military service one of Counter-Strike's most old school competitors, Joona 'natu' Leppänen, has resurfaced as a member of a new team going under the Soltec name, for now. The team essentially collects up the Finnish CS talent not in Playzone and will be seeking a bigger organization in the future.

natu told SK-gaming.com how he came to join the team:

"I was asked to be the fifth for the lineup couple of days ago and with little consideration I decided to agree. Most of them have played together in the past with Soltec so the lineup has come from there. What I look forward to is not to have to call really with Vidi taking care of that part and I get to concentrate in fragging which should prove to be fun"

Soltec:
Joona 'natu' Leppänen
Matti 'SPIKEONE' Järvinen
Joni 'Freon' Huumo
Atte 'VIDI' Hyväkkä
Ari 'spin' Raimi

natu is Finland's most famous player having won a WCG bronze medal back in 2001 with All-Stars, placed fourth at CPL Summer 2004 with D-Sky and fourth at WSVG ISC 2006 with 4kings. He then went on to play for 69N-28E/Roccat and won WSVG Louisville and the NGL-One LAN finals in 2007. After being removed from the team he disappeared from the scene for a while before reemerging as the leader of rootz, which went on to become crackclan/PowerGaming and took in his ex-team-mates from Roccat. Losing in dramatic fashion in a three map war against eventual champions AGAiN the team were unable to get beyond 5th-8th at the WCG Grand Finals.

SPIKEONE is known for his time within Logitech.fi/CMAX.gg and a short stint in crackclan when they added him in the place of ruuit for the IEM III European and Global Finals. VIDI was a member of the short lived crackclan lineup, along with JiGetus, which followed lurppis being removed and naSu leaving. That team fell to natu's new team at the WCG Finland qualifier in 2009.
