The European console league have released more details about their premier event.There has been tons of speculation about the dates and venue since the announcement of ECL’s first ever LAN event back in September 2009. It was revealed yesterday that this even will take place at the Liverpool BT conference centre on the 30th of July to the 1st of August.
The ECL staff will be announcing more details as the weeks go on. FIFA 10, Halo 3, Modern Warfare 2, Gears of War and Street Fighter IV have already been announced for the event, but details concerning prizes, tournament lay-out etc. have yet to be released.
However, ECL has posted a FAQ that does answer many questions.

What about a racing title, Forza perhaps?
Yeah, this is something we have given some thought too, the only concern is that racing turnouts at previous events have been poor to say the least, it will be a case of looking at demand.
