In another tragic case involving a gamer and an unnecessary loss of life gameriot have found the story of a 15 year old Romanian who killed his adoptive mother and then went to play CS.gameriot are carrying a story taken from an online Romanian news site regarding a 15 year old boy who stabbed his adoptive mother to death and then went and played Counter-Strike.
The murder occured on the 13th of January as Ionut Silviu Savin, said to be "dependant" on video games, killed his adoptive mother at some point after she had cancelled his internet access. According to the boy's father and other witness accounts Ionut had abandoned his studies in favour of Counter-Strike, missing 200 classes in 2009.
The supervisor of the LAN cafe he played at explained:
His high school teacher also noted that he had a "quiet and introverted" personality. The boy is now under guard at a psychiatric clinic while examinations are being carried out to find out whether he was in full control of his actions at the time of the crime. He may face up to 12 years in prison should be he tried and found guilty of first degree murder.

"Ionut frequented stated that the boy would spend most of his time alone playing Counter-Strike, wearing a hood over his head. She also noted that the boy had a calm demeanor, never swearing when he lost matches, or displaying an ounce of anger. He rarely interacted with the café’s other patrons."

we can`t put the full blame on a 15 years old kid ? can`t we if hes parents are ignorning him all the time or not giving him much of attention i my self would like to blame his father usualy the culture there is different than ours but what i know is if the father is not close to the son its a big mistake to bring him a 2nd mother i my self skipped some classes for some lan and i was addicted to cs but if u were rised in a good behaviour family u wont dare to rise ur voice on any 1 older than u or even show him any kind of aggrasive but this boy has passed the limits if he got small faith he wont do such a crime
