By beating r4veNNN 2-1 in a tough Best-of-Three, HuskY has qualified himself for the EA MASTERS Need for Speed: Shift Season Eight Offline Final.

The first out of three Online Qualifier for the EA MASTERS Season Eight began three months ago and just ended today with a final race between Danny 'HuskY' Engels and Markus 'r4veNNN' Ullrich. r4veNNN was coming out of the Loser Bracket and had to win two Best-of-Three matches against HuskY. But HuskY, who only needed one victorious Best-of-Three, still had an unexpectedly hard time during his race.

r4veNNN started flawlessly with a win on the first map Brands Hatch GP, but struggled on Spa Francorchamps and retired on the third and deciding map Laguna Seca after an incident in Turn One. Therefore, Danny 'HuskY' Engels wins the first Best-of-Three as well as the first EA MASTERS Online Qualifier, giving him an invitation for the Season Eight Offline Final which will take place in spring 2010.

More Information about the LAN-Final will be released on time.
