The underdogs from SK Sansibar just defeated Dignitas to take 1st place in Cologne.SK Gaming SANSIBAR have been the surprise package during the EM European Championships and their shock run continued right into the final.
Taking on , the Germans got off to the worst possible start by going 0-2 down. But the team rallied well and quickly tied things up by winning on Blade's Edge and Ruins. It was a difficult time for Ryan 'Hydra' van Buiten as SK chased him all over the map.
It was the priest's survival skills that helped his team to retake the lead as Dignitas made hard work of killing SK's warrior. But he was unable to deny SK any further, as they pulled back a 2-3 defecit to win 4-3 in the end. The last game on Blade's Edge was a perfect example of how SK's triple-plate cleave setup works and it helped them to their first ever tournament victory.
The win maintains Sansibar's unbeaten record at the event. They only dropped 6 maps from a possible 29, ending with an overall map score of 17-6. That statistic confirms them as the best team at the tournament without a doubt. 2nd placed Dignitas managed a 15-10 ratio.
Elsewhere, the other SK team had an unusual 3rd place game. They looked to have saved their best performance till last when they took a 3-0 lead. But x6tence seemed to wake up in game four and soon pulled things back to 3-3. Inflame and co were not to be denied, however, and were able to overcome the Spaniards' double warrior setup.

Tho, "The win maintains Sansibar's unbeaten record at the event. They only dropped 6 maps from a possible 29, ending with an overall map score of 17-6. doesnt add up in my head atleast." :p
Here comes the cleave whine, if cleave was that easy why doesn't everyone use it? lets see what Infails excuse is.
You have to pray God for buffs in 3.4, probably it works better.
TSG. s5 Gear. Badoom.
Yea Grats guys :D
i mean they are not bad players, just if wow was based on skill they would not have made it past 4-5th place. I want you to look at game 6 Anothers (listed under Enig) point of view (the game Sk euro lost to SK san) Anothers fucking amzing he fucking mind froze the gargole to stop its casting, in the middle of his dps roations and switch back to his original target in split sec to get the auto attack off.
In other words, even when SK euro lost to Sk sansibar Skeuro played perfectly while Sk san just got crits (on bladestorm and such). Same thing with Hydras team vs them. WOW is a game of counter comping as shown in TBC and WTLK
Teams like Zileas team (who won Blizzcon), and x6 (nothing against them but they play just to countercomp) will win because how overpowered there comps against other comps.
You could say that button bashers beat Check6(col black) which shows skill, but look at the finnal game they had vs Check6, had Check6 gotten more lucky crits, or if Numberone had not critedwith his heals/ Oringes spells Button bashers could have lost even though they outskilled Check6 by a large margin
To a greater extent most games wow will be won by those counteroping and those who just get lucky
How many teams used the setup Sansibar used? how many use the x6 setup each and every MLG? are cleave teams dominating live? soon as cleave wins it's OP and no skill, yet if this is true why ain't there more? I mean come on, people go to these events to win, if you're chances of winning are 99% because of cleave why the fuck not use it, why doesn't everyone use it? surely since it's so easy and a free win everyone wants to use it?
Do you forget when WLD was the shit and most teams ran that comp and it made for some boring shit, that is the difference between cleave and WLD, alot used WLD yet alot don't use cleave so I don't get this bitching at cleave, as I said, the day everyone uses cleaves and they dominate everything and everyone is the day you can QQ like a baby and say it's OP, but when 1 team use cleave then how the fuck is that OP?
BB played 3000 games apparently and still sucked ass, has BB never beaten x6? has no other team on live ever beat a cleave? it's amazing, cleave is just this incredibly easy and op comp so I guess live is full of them with 100% records? and after all they beat every team 3-0 and won 4-0 in the final right? because cleave is just that easy amirite?
If you even dare to say that TUNNELVISIONING warlock in the SK.sansibar vs SK.eu match requires anything called skills, then I hope you uninstall WoW and go and play in traffic.
They didn't even try to switch tactic, they just rushed in and /stick to warlock. No brain tactic. So yes, cleave is that easy to play. SK.sansibar have one hell of an awesome paladin, who might be the one who made em win this tournament, I'll give em that, but the setup is just noobish.
You are the biggest retard btw
Ok I'm going to MLG to win 15k$ but I won't cleave for free money cos I'm stubborn so I'll use a weaker comp instead.
LOOOOOOOOOL?
Cleave is such a free win that not everyone uses it, because they are stubborn? LMFAO, I know you're a yank but fucking come on man hahahahaha.
Every bracket is dominated by cleave? be it Korea, China, Russia who fucking cares, every bracket in every contitent is dominated by cleaves? yea, show me that shit I dare you, else have a cup of shut the fuck up, yank.
Well played
