According to mTw's Dominic "DaddYless" Büttner, the organization's management and 2009 German roster held a group meeting to reflect upon their performance from 2009 and hypothesize about their potential for 2010. After concluding a disappointing EPS season from the previous year, the squad, headed by Team Captain Gerhard 'gerdi' Grimm decided it was time to end their involvement with mTw and set out as an independent faction. The team consisted of, in addition to gerdi, Daniel 'Frigh' Enderle, Ludwig 'brundle' Arnold, Michael 'KOENIGSBERGER' Wassong and Tobias 'Tobson' Lichtner.

mTw has now welcomed a conglomerate team of veterans and newcomers to the professional eSports scene. Two of the new team members are from the long-standing team of hoorai while the other three are from dangerous Regeneration.
