H2k out of IEM due to snajdan illness

ImageH2k have pulled out of the IEM European Championship Finals because snajdan has fallen ill and is unable to travel to the event.

Swedish team H2k Gaming have dropped out of the IEM European Championship Finals due to their player Mattias 'Snajdan' Andersen being ill and as a result unable to travel.

The news was explained on the team's website:

"It is with great sadness that we have to announce that H2k will not be able to attend the Extreme Master 4 European Cup which is due to start on the 14th until the 18th of January.

H2k Gaming have been at Inferno Online, in Stockholm, the last few days in order to practise for the event. However, one of the players, Mattias 'Snajdan' Andersen, showed up ill, and his condition worsened throughout the practise time. Mattias was sent to the hospital to be treated and is not allowed to leave the country."

No replacement has been announced so far but the logical choice would seem to be Meet Your Makers swe since they finished 2nd in the ESL mini-tournament for SoA's spot.

This seems to be ESL's thinking also as HLTV.org discovered:

"Michal "Carmac" Blicharz stated that MYM would be next in line, in the event of a team dropping out."
