Button Bashers favourites for EM Asian finals

ImageButton Bashers are one of five teams attending the Asian EM finals in early February.

Any chance for Western fans to see Asian teams in action is exciting, and the Continental finals is no different. Button Bashers will be there, looking to make up for a poor performance at last weekend's MLG finals. They will be accompanied by four teams from Taiwan and three other teams from Korea (TBA).

They will face a much wider variety of lineups in Taipei with just two out of the five finalists playing RMP. R.O.C. are even expected to play and oldschool WLD setup. SK's Asian team may still be able to attend, as three Korean teams have yet to be announced. BB are still clear favourites for the event but with so many unusual lineups and BB's inconsistent form, anything can happen.

The complete list of teams looks like this:

Button Bashers
R.O.C.
Death Blooms
DKP
Gaming

Even if BB do come out on top, the global finals has three slots open for Asia. That means we are guaranteed to see at least two Taiwanese teams in Hannover competing with four from America and five from Europe.

The Asian finals kick off on February 5.
