ESL are hosting a four team mini tournament to decide the final spot in their IEM European Championship Finals.ESL officially announced the details of their mini tournament for the last IEM European Championship Finals spot today. The spot was created when Spirit of Amiga had to drop out of the event due to disbanding, despite having qualified for the Finals. Now four teams who failed to make it there the first time will get a last chance to earn their way to Cologne.
The four teams competing for the final spot are:
AGAiN
Confis
Frag eXecutors
Meet Your Makers swe.
Matchups and schedule:
08/01/10 21:15 CET - AGAiN vs. Confis.BigShock
09/01/10 18:00 CET - Frag eXecutors vs. MeetYourMakers
10/01/10 18:00 CET - Final match
There are plenty of intriguing extra factors to be thrown into the mix for this mini tournament as MYM have removed MODDII, one of their strongest players, due to internal conflicts and replaced him with the Dane wazorN. Meanwhile AGAiN's future is not certain with the Guns Are Drawn project gathering attention in the background, involving a member of Frag eXecutors.
