Season seven has been live for what seems like forever. But Blizzard finally announced a date for its end, albeit with the usual "subject to change" disclaimer. The normal two-week rule is also in effect, with an official poster stating that "We are currently planning to end Arena Season 7 as early as January 19."

Assuming that date is kept, there will, as usual, be a one week break in which no rated games will be played. In this time the titles and rewards will be calculated and season eight is currently due to begin on January 26. All ratings and arena points will be wiped when the new season starts.

Blizzard also reminded players who think they might be eligible for a title/reward not to transfer around this period as it can mess up the calculation.
