The next phase of WC3L 16 is ready to begin, with the fixtures having been announced this morning.Season 16 of WC3L brought us a whole new format and the so-called relegation matches are also slightly different than previous years. Teams that placed 2nd and 3rd in the group stage have been randomly paired, which has led to some intriguing matches, as you can see below.
World Elite vs Infernal Gamers
Mousesports vs ieS Virtual Gaming
Serious Gaming vs Mojawi Gaming
x6tence vs Geh aB
SK-Gaming's recent disqualification means that the system became a little confusing but some fascinating games now await. Weiliang 'Fly100%' Lu could be playing his last ever game for Mouz if he can't inspire his team to a victory against a up-and-coming ieS team. In fact, new faces are everywhere this season with the possible LAN finalists being much more unpredictable than previous events. Without SK's participation we are guaranteed to see at least two new teams in the grand finals.
Even World Elite could make it two seasons in a row without qualifying for the finals, although they are massive favourites against Infernal Gamers.
Whoever does manage to progress will join the teams who managed to top their groups. Meet Your Makers , WeMade FOX , Evil Geniuses and Raptor Gaming are all waiting for the qualifiers in the next round.
The relegation matches will be played between January 7 and January 13.

I doubt there will be LAN finals ;)
MYM is already in the tournament stage after finishing first in their group.
Fly100% looks so unhappy on the pick! '_'
hacker team more like it. sad there hasn't been any action taken so far by the ESL. Surnatural got kicked for whatever reasons and yom aka thug is on the very forefront of the crash hack...

anyways, iG fighting ! ! !
Ofc I'm not blaming you or the other legit players, but your orgas are either stupid for not knowing they were hiring known hackers or they collaborated with the hackers and even got their ESL accs reopened. More likely the latter.
