Neo is the player of the decade
The votes are finally in for HLTV.org's player of the decade.

The votes are finally in for HLTV.org's player of the decade.The World Cyber Games champion for 2009 has added yet another honour to what is already a long, long list. HLTV.org finally announced the winner of their player of the decade vote yesterday and the winner was, unsurprisingly, Filip 'NEO' Kubski. The Pole was a runaway winner with 61% of the votes. SK's own Dennis 'walle' Wallenberg came a distant 2nd with 25%.
The voting showed a huge tendency towards more recent players. Only Raphael 'cogu' Camargo was able to make the final cut from the retired players involved in the voting process. But given Neo's accomplishments over recent years, the result comes as little surprise. The official post on HLTV.org even noted that the result was "like many expected."
Neo just can't keep out of the spotlight recently, as his latest team recently hit the front page of SK. Guns are Drawn is currently a two-man team, with the remaining three players yet to be announced. Many are already speculating that this will the latest incarnation of the so-called Golden Five.

Where is elemeNt, HeatoN, f0rest. I hate NOOBS that watching some frag movies and thinking herself knows alot about CS.
Fnatic is the best team out atm, they won nearly everything 2008/2009. They beat the record to win prizemoney and have won mutch more than the polish team and that proof that fnatic is better right know.
But I guess that neos fanboys never will realize this who is truely sad but Sweden got one big proof and that is that Sweden is and have been the greatest nation for counter strike ever. They got the best players, not just one and they got the best teams.
Firstly Morendo, and probably everyone else : A decade is 10 years, that's 10 years of good and stable cs. All these players you guys moan about not being on the list either stopped playing a long time ago or only got famous recently.
Neo has been around for the whole decade and he's being doing good and playing a stable game since day 1 in the pro scene. For that he deserves player of the decade. HeatoN stopped in 2005 if I remember correctly. How can you give a him the player of the decade award if he only played half of the decade?
There are polish fanboys out there but I also believe the rest are missing the point. Neo was a prime candidate, and as per the voting, walle was the 2nd person I had in mind, and he was 2nd.

Sounds more like some swedish fanboys to me. All had shortlived campaigns. Players these days wont know who XeqtR and LeX is, how can those players get an award if they played for 2-3 years at the top level.
