According to IpSa's blog famous ex-team-mates Johan 'face' Klasson (of SK Gaming ) and Christopher 'GeT_RiGhT' Alesund (of fnatic ) will be playing along with Pink Zinic players to form a team for the Rendezvous LAN event. It will be taking place in Skövde, Sweden, from the 27th to the 30th of December.

face and GeT_RiGhT were team-mates during their time in Begrip, NiP and later Blank. GeT_RiGhT trialed for SK while cArn once mentioned in an interview that there was no room for face in fnatic. Ironically by IEM IV Chengdu each was playing for the other team with face part of SK and GeT_RiGhT part of fnatic.

The LAN event itself has a history which stretches back further than some may be aware. Back in 2001 it was at Rendezvous that the newly reformed NiP lineup (HeatoN, Potti, XeqtR, MedioN and Hyb) had their coming out party as they beat MAFIA (vesslan etc) in the finals. That team went on to win two European and an American CPL in the next six months.

XeqtR's POV demo from that dust2 final was also at the time an instant classic as it featured a number of fairly ridiculous shots such as long range deagle shots and AWPing people out of the air as he took on MAFIA's vesslan, at the time considered one of the elite AWPers, in a sniper battle.
