The tie-breaker games for Shadowleague have been completed and the playoffs are ready to begin. After some tightly fought tie-breakers (and some not so tightly fought), Shadowleague is ready to move into playoff mode. Hyo Sub 'FoCuS' Eom managed to see-off both Infi and ToD in the first group of tie-breakers. He will join the ever-improving Xuwen 'InFi' Wang in the playoffs. Infi managed to make his way past Soccer and Lucifron in his games.
With those games completed, we now have the full playoff bracket for both old and new school. Three of the eight players are undead although, as you can see below, two of them qualified from the oldschool groups.
Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang vs Hyo Sub 'FoCuS' Eom - Jaunary 2, 15:00
Xuwen 'InFi' Wang vs Sung Hyun 'Space' Park - January 2, 18:00
Fredrik 'MaDFroG' Johansson vs Hong Won 'FarSeer' Ui - January 3, 15:00
Zdravko 'Insomnia' Georgiev vs Jung Hee 'Sweet' Chun - January 3, 18:00
The league was designed so that the older players will not meet the newer ones until the semi-final. From there we will be treated some fascinating games, whoever wins them. All matches in the playoffs will be best-of-five with the same map pool as before (LT, 2R, PI, SV, TP, TR, TM). Happily, the games will be broadcast live on GGTV and WTV.
Of course, you can follow the whole tournament right here on SK-Gaming.

Good idea, poor execution.
*edit*
Im still looking forward to madfrogs games of course :D
Therefore,I completly disagree with you.The idea was not good, but great, and the execution was pretty solid.Making the final stage matches BO5 is a terrific idea btw.
I can't wait to see these matches
The idea is as I said, great, no question about that.
And there are not a lot of tournaments these days, so you should be happy to see top players in action. You surely think the groupstages were boring, we'll see what you'll say for the finals ^^
Enjoy
And yet again,I would give anything to see that match :D
what a great epic match. cant wait to see it
2-0 against grubby in Bnet final(2006)
3-0 against Lyn in Iem china final(2008)
also against moon there will be a nice show the best Ud vs Ne games ( double hero surround , gargoyle surround ) , his game where always atractive and much more interesting then the games that we used to watsh in this season of wc3land ngl
