The WCG 2008 matchup replay in the WEM final ended with the same result, namely a championship for Grubby over Moon after a 2:1 battle.Manuel 'GrubbY' Schenkhuizen may have been through a hard few months in terms of results but all that has changed, for now, thanks to a huge victory at the World e-Sports Masters in Hangzhou, China. The Dutchman faced his famous rival Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang in the final and after a three map battle emerged the champion of the event.
On his way to the crown Grubby faced some adversity as he lost to WCG champion Infi, then WeMade Fox's SocceR before moving on to face the Chinese Undead player TeD in the semi-finals. After emerging from that 2:1 series Grubby was able to defeat SocceR's team-mate, and the IEM IV Chengdu runnerup, in the final and grab himself a much needed title to close out 2009.
Moon's path to the final saw him lose to SK's Lyn at first, only to gain his revenge later. Moon also fell to TeD during the group stage but when facing his team-mate SocceR in the semis the Korean won 2:0 to reach the final.
WEM WC3 placings:
1st Manuel 'GrubbY' Schenkhuizen $14,000
2nd Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang $6,000
3rd-4th Deok Man 'SocceR' Youn $2,000
3rd-4th Zhuo 'TeD' Zeng $2,000
5th-8th Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li $500
5th-8th June 'Lyn' Park $500
5th-8th Xuwen 'InFi' Wang $500
5th-8th Weiliang 'Fly100%' Lu $500

Try to continue :P
Upcoming champions: Orc Prince (Fly), Orc King (Lyn), Orc Royal Guard (whO) and Orc Knight (FoCuS)
Then we have brave Footmen like viOlet to clear up Zotacs, Yay!
Lets all celebrate this beautiful game and lets praise the almighty Orcish empire.
Might it reign with iron fist for centuries to come.
Hip Hip Hooray ! (Zuk Zuk...)
you night elf freak!
I guess he is far superior to them.
Grubby is the King of Orcs!
Lucifron tournament wins in 1.21: 0
How can one be a patchorc, while the other is not?
Well in my eyes Grubby isnt a patch-orc because he was in my eyes one of the good orcs with real skill.
But now, we all can discuss the shit outta the patch.
A noname names LuckyfroN is comming out of his rat-hole and rapes another UD's with his bm + claws ofc.
Grubby is a progamer for ages.
LuckyfroN just a few months? roflcopter
and also if you call grubby a patchorc you have to call moon a patchnelf ...he just won because of nelf imbalance ...you see how ridiculous such an argumentation is ?
what were his stats vs sky, moon etc before the patch?
PATCHORC
I'm glad I could help.
his 3-1 moon was his first and last win vs moon in the old patch, when the game was still balanced.. he is just a kid compared to moon, the best rts-player eva, the most successful elf through wc3 history in every single year. what about nubby? best orc in 07? 08? 09? i really doubt that..
grubby had his year without a tournament win 2007 moon had it now 2009
anyway it doesn't really matter those two guys are some of the "old" players they are succesfull for more than half a decade something not many progamers can say nowadays
just stop crying i'm sure moon can make a comeback in 2010 because wc3 will still be played in 2010 :)
grubby was the better, so stop whining like a little kid, it's like you're saying that they should win by not working hard, and one thing, spell literally properly
Orc imba is common sense right now, even Fly and Lucifron admitted their race was actually the strongest.
Grubby was shit in 2006-2007, he didn't start to rock again all by magic, HU tower repair speed got heavily nerfed, NE staff got fixed, SW got buffed against slow and cyclone and people finally learned how to abuse the BM correctly, if it would have been discovered earlier when Blizzard was still caring about the game, that would have been fixed.
I suggest you all get a clue before posting on a War3 news, k thx.
should die a slow death in hell. We all know who is the reason for todays Orc imbalance and the reason Undead is dead.
Please know what you want in life :)
