mTw.dk brought the fire in the first map, nuke, and really charged into the second going up by a good amount in the first half. Then SK managed to grind out some round wins and finally lock into an offensive zone which carried them to the title.SK Gaming had their chance at revenge against the team who put them out of DreamHack in the first round of the playoffs as they faced off in the final against mTw . It was the Danes who came out strong as seemed to ride the confidence of their crushing victory over EG to win nuke comfortably. Then after a big first half offensively from mTw SK replied in kind and ran off a big time streak of rounds to win the game and the Arbalet Cup Europe title.

First half
SK started out well as terrorists as three kills from kHRYSTAL saw them take the pistol round and two deagle saves from mTw.dk had the Swedes up 3:0. Then mTw.dk took the 4th as a 2v2 with the bomb planted was won courtesy of two trace kills while ave defused. The next two also went the Danes' way to even the game up 3:3. In the 7th SK took the lead again as trace saved an AK. That AK proved useful though as he won the 8th round with it essentially, killing three guys around the squeaky door and then the last through the hut.
The game may have been tied but from there on out it would be all mTw.dk as SK players found themselves in 1v3s they couldn't win. face's had him get it down to a 1v1 at upper only to lose to minet as he realized he was running out of time and had to chase. In the 9th round mTw got 2v2 with the bomb planted and ArcadioN killed one to make it 2v1 before zonic finished the last to put mTw.dk up 9:4.
In the 14th SK got themselves 2v1 at lower with the bomb planted but trace killed the player hiding in the dark spot to the side of the lower ramp and then using a smoke killed the player at the blast doors to win the round. SK managed to leave the half 5:!0 thanks to two kills from face and some nifty wall spamming from outside to the upper bombsite.
Second half
mTw.dk came out strong as minet and zonic killed everyone to win the pistol round, with SK gambling and putting three players outside around the entrance area. mTw.dk continued rolling and were soon up to 4:0 and 14:5 overall. On the 5th round four kill from kHRYSTAL got SK on the board but the last two went the Danes' way to seal the match. The 6th had face 1v2 but losing to ave at lower.
A dominating performance from the Danish side and the fact the next map was dust2, a map they had rolled EG on big time, meant they had to be confident of being capable of winning the final.

First half
The pistol round as terrorists saw mTw.dk win in incredible fashion as ave planted with 3hp and then won a 1v1 against RobbaN. On the 4th round SK got back in the game and then the 5th went their way too as a 2v3 became a round win after face killed two and allen one.
6th round was mTw.dk's thanks to minet's three kills and he repeated the feat in the 7th to secure another. In the 8th zonic took a turn at being the three kill man and mTw.dk had started to build momentum up. The next three went their way also to put them 9:2 up. On the 12th round two kills a piece from zonic and ArcadioN had mTw 10:2 ahead.
At that point SK woke up out of their stupor and in a 1v1 kHRYSTAL was able to land a close range deagle headshot to win the round. kHRYSTAL again came up with the kills, this time two of them, on the last round to make it 10:5 mTw.dk overall.
Second half
SK knew the pistol round was vital and but two quick kills from ArcadioN at long A was a bad start, eventually the round wound up in a 1v4 for allen which he couldn't possibly win and mTw.dk went 11:5 up. SK all bought deagles, except face who had an AK, but three kills from minet was enough to punish their gamble and the Danes were suddenly up 12:5. The first win of the half came off another deagle semi-buy round as two kills from face up close at long A allowed the SK players to get guns and when ave made a 1v2 into a 1v1 he could do no more. mTw.dk had to eco twice and SK took both to make it 3:2 in the half.
mTw.dk won the 6th off the back of zonic's three kills, as SK went catwalk for the third time in a row. If that might have spelled an mTw.dk run any other time it wasn't going to today. SK completely started going again offensively and never stopped. On the 7th round they won a 2v2 at B, with walle taking the last three kills of the round overall. On the 9th it was three kills from face which did the damage. Three kills from allen saw SK win a round they had attacked successfully via the catwalk in the 11th. When SK won the 13th mTw.dk's ave was sitting on a miserable 2-13 scoreline, unable to do anything as he was either killed at long A or his team overloaded long but SK continued to go catwalk or B.
On the 14th round SK were up 10:3, match point, and mTw.dk had to buy famases etc. A catwalk push worked and walle killed the last player to take the title for SK. SK had won the last eight rounds in a row to take the win.
SK won the tournament with only a single loss, the first map of the final, and a number of come behind performances. A very solid performance overall as the team showed their ability to dig down deep with their backs against the wall facing hungry teams.
mTw.dk will feel sore to have lost another final, especially another they played well in, but ultimately they have had a remarkable few months. For a team with new players at every tournament they have managed a WCG bronze, 2nd at DreamHack and 2nd at Arbalet Cup Europe in back-to-back-to-back events. None of the teams who finished higher than them at those three tournaments attended all the others.
So SK emerge from a tough field in an interesting structure, harkening back to the older CPL days which the old SK teams were of course famous for winning in, and beat a nice variety of teams with entirely varying styles of play.
