Mousesports have taken a step to improve their 2010 lineup by recruiting Alternate star player roman, with the deal effective from January 1st onwards.Mousesports have recruited Roman 'roman' Ausserdorfer from Team ALTERNATE as their 5th player. Meanwhile Alternate have filled the void left by the MVP of the last EPS season by picking up mystical Lambda player Direnc 'seraph' Öz, who himself had played with Mouz at the WCG. roman will not officially leave Alternate until December 31st 2009.
Mousesports' 2010 lineup:
Navid 'Kapio' Javadi
Antonio 'cyx' Daniloski
Roman 'roman' Ausserdorfer
Manuel 'tixo' Makohl
Fatih 'gob b' Dayik
Alternate's 2010 lineup:
Roman 'Roman R.' Reinhardt
Direnc 'seraph' Öz
Manuel 'approx' Zeitz
Jan 'mooN' Stolle
Benjamin 'paN' von Mulert
Mouz's recent form has been noticably poor as they were eliminated by TyLoo at IEM IV Chengdu, didn't make the playoffs at IEM IV Dubai and then with stand-ins at the WCG failed to quality for the playoffs after losing to a team from Belarus.
roman was well known as one of the top German players within the EPS for a number of years but his breakout international moment came as he helped an aTTaX team who were essentially a semi-mix team win the WSVG Finals 2006 in New York, winning the team $50,000 and five rolex watches. In the finals against Team3D it was his 96.9 DAR (Damage Average per Round) that proved to be the difference as his team took the game in overtime.
Since then his time in Alternate has not been quite as successful as despite taking an EPS title from Mouz the team have often struggled to deliver major LAN placings of note. One exception is the IEM III European Finals where Alternate surprised everyone by making it to the finals, with victories over the then new fnatic team and the Polish MYM side.
roman's time with Alternate has not always been a happy one as he left the team in January of 2008, later being replaced by Roman R. After almost a year in TBH.eSports he rejoined the mooN-led side.

still, insane player, mouz will improve for sure!
if mouz cant win yet , they must snap their face
if the rest of the mouz players find their shape, this team will be great and able to win sth internationally.
for roman its just a great opportunity to travel round the world, as mouz gets invited to more tournaments than alternate...
gl mouz&alternate
gl Roman
Good Luck to all guys !
Hope they are gettin' their old shape back.
