SK Gaming began DreamHack Winter with a win against the Portuguese side k1ck eSports Club on dust2. A strong CT side which gave up little was followed up with a victory in 10 rounds as terrorist to seal the game.

The first half saw SK rush out to a 5:0 lead but then k1ck managed to take the A bomsite and allen and walle attempted to retreat and save but only walle made it out. The next two rounds went back and forth as SK won and then k1ck came back as they found themselves 3v2 with the bomb planted in B. That was turned into a 1v1 but face ran out of time and attempted to bolt from the site and save hit weapon but was killed as the bomb exploded and hit his back hitboxes.

The next round went back SK's way thanks to a three kill round from kHRYSTAL and SK continued to roll on going all the way up to 10:2. On the 11th round face won a 1v2 in B to keep k1ck from getting anything. The half ended up the Portuguese team taking only one more round to make it 12:3 to SK.

The Swedes had it fairly easy as they cruised to 16 rounds win in a 6:3 terrorist half.
