Pro gamers in Korean TV show: "Revenge"

ImageBoxeR is the first pro gamer to feature on a new Korean revenge TV show which sees players facing rivals in special matches.

Further demonstrating the heights to which professional gaming has risen in Korean culture OGN have developed a new television show format which is a 'revenge' show. Separate from any league or official competition the show will pit a famous pro gamer against a "natural rival" who has been selected. This may be someone who has had epic mathces with the player over the years or perhaps ended a winning streak of his. The exact specific remain uncertain. The players will apparently battle and then be interviewed afterwards.

The first big name to feature on the show was the legend himself Yo Hwan 'BoxeR' Lim, who is not only still incredibly popular but has been the focal point of a number of truly epic rivalries. Speculation was rife: would we see BoxeR facing off against YellOw, the man he denied those starleague titles? Perhaps it would be the one who came after BoxeR and built himself into the most accomplished player ever: NaDa?

In fact BoxeR faced Pusan who had lost to Boxer in the semifinal of an OSL.

The TV show is broadcast each Tuesday at 21:00 KST.
