ImageFinnish team munkka have been disqualified from IEM IV due to accumulating too many penalty points. Melser explained things that they didn't want to play without their full lineup.

After not playing out their scheduled game against Lions no the Finnish side munkka have been disqualified from the competition after receiving too many penalty points.

Erik 'Melser' Tuominen explained to SK-gaming.com:

"We have had some lineup changes during the season and actually we played only one game with our full lineup. We were disqualified because of too many penalty points, which came from pretty stupid things like uploading data in wrong name etc but most of penalty points came from using wildcards since 2 of our players were on a vacation and we tried to change match dates so that we could play with our full lineup.

Today 2 of our players had pretty bad connection problems and we couldn't change anymore match dates without being disqualified and we didn't want to play with 2 stand-ins again so we just gave a walkover though we knew we were going to be disqualified for doing that also. This won't really have any affect to us since we couldn't make it to finals anymore and now we are just focusing on IOL LAN Finals."

munkka had lost all three of their games in Group B 0-2 as they played SoA, MYM.se and my*.
