The best StarCraft player in the world was too much for the three time finalist as Jaedong bested Stork over three maps.Jae Dong 'Jaedong' Lee was already considered the best StarCraft player in the world but thanks to his victory over Byung Goo 'Stork' Song he can add another impressive title to his resume and looks well on his way to becoming recognized as the next bonjwa of the StarCraft scene. Jaedong defeated Stork 2 maps to 1 to take the crown.
The Zerg player they call "The Tyrant" has already attained legendary status in his career thanks to his 1 MSL and 3 OSL titles. Now he joins legends of the past like BoxeR and iloveoov in adding a WCG gold to that glittering resume.

This event also saw all three medal spots going to South Koreans, with the mighty Bisu taking the bronze, which is a feat only previously accomplished back in 2006.
