warden himself had these words to send out to the community:
Overcoming a dismal 64th place with GB at CPL Summer 2003 warden took his first decent event placing with Forsaken via a 9th-12th at CPL Summer and an overtime loss to NoA. With storm and fRoD in the same coL team for CPL Winter 2004 the underdogs stormed to a 5th place, beating a number of European teams along the way. From there on out the team climbed higher and higher with a 2nd at CPL Barcelona and the recruitment of sunman until they reached their zenith winning ESWC 2005.
Other noteworthy placings for warden during his career were a 2nd at WEG Masters in 2006, a victory at the GGL TransAtlantic Showdown, 1st at WSVG ISC 2006, 1st at the CGI and 1st at the CGS' CS:Source individual world championships.

Star AWPer Danny "fRoD" Montaner, who has played with warden since 2004, said:
"It's hard thinking of not playing without Matt because throughout my career, I have grown as a person and as a player with his help. I know the success we achieved as teammates would never have come or happened without him being a part of the team we had. I know I should be able to talk more about how it will be to play without Matt, but the whole concept hasn't totally sunk in yet, and honestly I'm not trying to think about it because that's a very sad day not only for me, but for the whole community."
Tyler "Storm" wood, who first played with Warden in Forsaken in 2003, explained
"I've known him ever since our Forsaken days together and even then I knew how special of a person he is. We were decent friends at the time, but I actually felt bad how things ended in that team when he was wrongfully removed. I must have left an impression on him since he'd told Jason Lake that he wanted to play with me again and I was actually going to quit CS at that time until I'd got the offer to join coL with Matt. From then on a lasting friendship started and I met one of the greatest friends I'll ever have in my life. His presence on the team both in and out of the game is something that's irreplaceable."
warden himself had these words to send out to the community:
"I'd like to thank all the fans of me over the years and supporters of the teams I've been on. You have truly made this experience one worth doing. To my teammates: I love you guys. You have been there for me and made this all worth while. I will never forget what we have done together."

Will be interesting to see what EG do with the lineup after this! Will Lurppis stick with the team for long? Will they change roster? Or just get someone to play Wardens spot? Will be fun to see who they recruit :)
i couldn't care less about his weight but he's simply a prick, a fat prick at that.
coL[CGS]Warden[A]> we just want a chance to play in playoffs

he's overestimating his ability and talking about it like he was king of the world. that's the thing you can only see in the WoW kids, not pro CS players.
tragic notice he is a very important for a EG
