Mousesports have come to WCG with 2 rather new players in the team as Fatih 'gob b' Dayik was unable to participate with Mouz due to his Turkish citizanship. Cash was also replaced by Christian 'Blizzard' Chmiel. However, neither of the two player showed anything exceptional as the other 3 were toping the scoreboard and getting the important first kills. Mousesports also just came off a defeat versus the American Turmoil which made this game so much more important for them for a chance of getting in the top 2 seedings.

CMAX.gg on the contrary beat Turmoil in their first group game and then quite comfortably beat the Belarus team, SnG maxigame . The Russians were looking up to a nice winning streak, with this game being their most important one.

First half

Mouz started with a pistol win and also won the next two rounds due to CMAX.gg's eco's. However, as soon as CMAX.gg were able to buy (round 4), Mouz managed to lose a round in a bomb planted 1on1 situation. This will be the only round CMAX.gg manages to get until round 8 of the first half where Ruslan 'Dober' Shariffylin from CMAX showed some nice awping skills, killing 3 German players. Speaking of Awping, this was pretty much awp_city. Two CMAX players and Antonio 'cyx' Daniloski from Mouz had awp duels in about 75% of the rounds. Even though this didn't work in CMAX's advantage, they persisted picking up the AWP which in the meanwhile, mouz had found a way to work against. Apart from the odd AWP kill and Ivan 'F_1N' Kochugov's nice cover on long from "big pit", CMAX didn't manage to pick off the Germans who kept quite easily entering the bombsites.


Second half

The second half was over pretty quickly. CMAX had a successful pistol round push into B, however, once the bomb was planted they weren't able to protect the site and lost the round they really needed. From there on Mouz could smell victory and quite swiftly took 4 rounds to end the game.
