After 18 days since IceFrog promised new content with his 6.65 blog, he has released a rather remarkable video that teases a new face that will rip its foes apart. So it happens that the new and ominous Valve employee, IceFrog, has created his own YouTube account entitled "IceFrogDotA" and kicked off its existence with a teaser trailer of a new element in DotA. Tuned to the theme song of "Halloween", the video begins by displaying "A dark and terrifying force..", followed immediately by the footage of the controversial Dwarven Sniper running through the mid-map stream. He is soon pursued by a trail of smoke that cuts him to haggis while he is desperately retreating. Blood squirts in every direction as the Dwarven Sniper slows to a dead halt. We next see Viper the Netherdrake assisting his Scourge allies when the terrible cloud of smoke attacks and pursues him. The poor dragon is struck by lightning twice and gradually takes damage until he dies.
We are given no visuals of the creature other than the trail of smoke, the fountains of blood from its victims and the lightning attack. In all probability, this will likely be the new content exclusive in v6.65. Considering how the teaser differs greatly from IceFrog's other premeditated announcements, the hero model may turn out to be ironic. Still, only time will tell and IceFrog is God and DotA is his playground.
