DreamHack have announced their prize purse for DreamHack Winter which is due to start on the 26th of November, in about two weeks. Last year, DreamHack Winter had a total prize purse of 19 500 EUR, but also 19 500 EUR worth of hardware for the top four teams in the standings. This year however DreamHack Winter will have a reduction of 1 500 EUR, meaning only 18 000 EUR, and a big reduction in hardware give aways. The money will be distributed as follows:

1st place - €9,700
2nd place - €4,900
3rd place - €2,500 and 5 x Sennheiser PC350
4th place - €970 and 5 x Sennheiser PC350

A total of 32 teams will be participating at the event in Jönköping, Sweden. A full list will be given out closer to the event as 12 teams still remain to qualify.
