HLTV.org are reporting Arbalet Cup's plans to expand the scope of their events. 2010 will see six Moscow-based events taking place in February, April, June, August, October and December. Eight teams will be invited to these with four being Russian, two Ukranian, One Kazah and one Balrusian. Apparently a team from Uzbekistan may be included on occasion to replace a Russian team. These six events will each carry prize purses of $25,000.

Then there will be two national Arbalet Cups, every six months, held in Russia and the Ukraine. The idea behind these is to only allow domestic talent to compete in these, the prize purse being $12,000. Then there will be the Arbalet Cup Europe held in Stockholm, the 2009 edition of which will take place in early December, which will see an impressive $100,000 prize purse. Some of the teams who will compete at this event will have qualified through the six Moscow-based events.

In other news the Arbalet organizers have decided to invite CMAX.gg ru and Hellraisers to the 2009 Arbalet Cup Europe, despite both having failed to win the recent qualifier.
