ImageESWC champion Renato 'nak' Nakano spoke to HLTV.org about his team's chances at the WCG Grand Finals, the aSpx cheating incident and his ex-team-mate bit1.

Renato 'nak' Nakano of FireGamers has been interviewed by HLTV.org regarding the upcoming WCG Grand Finals in Chengdu his team will be competing at. In the interview nak addresses his aSpx cheating incident, the structure of the WCG Grand Finals and his team's expectations.

Talking about which teams he respects the most nak explains:

"There are many teams I respect and know that will be very hard to beat. Fnatic are coming off a tremendous phase, winning almost everything they participate in, I am sure they will be the team to beat in this WCG."

Regarding his group and having to face some tough competition:

"In my opinion we are in the toughest group of the WCG. It will be very hard, specially because we will take on fnatic and wNv on their best maps. If we wanted to go far in the tournament we would face big teams. The difficulties just started earlier than expected."

On the controversial aSpx cheating incident at the WCG Qualifier:

"I watched the videos on YouTube and I thought it was ridiculous. The tournament organisation contacted me and asked me for my opinion on the videos, I think it was clear he was cheating."

nak was a long time member of mibr, winning ESWC with them in 2006, but left for Firegamers and there set about claiming the top spot in Brazil. His team have done that but were hurt by the loss of captain bit1 a few months ago. With the teams divided up as they are with Firegamers having a whole wealth of mibr's ex-stars but mibr having cogu, ton and bit1 domestic battles can be seen waging on and on in the coming future.
