SK Gaming US's Mage Pookz gives you the lowdown on the MLG Anaheim field and who he thinks will come out with the top spots in this preview.SK Gaming's US WoW Mage Mark 'Pookz' Rendon will be in attendance with his team, the European squad and all the other hopesfuls at MLG Anaheim from Friday onwards. Pookz gives his thoughts on the teams attending and their chances of success in this preview to whet your appetite for the upcoming action.

We are looking to come out strong and make the finals in Anaheim. The last few tournaments we've missed the finals by a hair which really pressures us as a team to get top 4 at Anaheim.

Complexity's veterans Sodah and Venruki have attended nearly every WoW LAN tournament to date and have really seemed to shine after they got their new rogue Reckful, the shadow dance hero. I expect this team to do well in Anaheim since they made the finals in Dallas and have been consistent in their practice at home. I'm not sure if Complexity (or any of the RMPs) will have an answer to beast cleave but expect a top four finish for this team.
fnatic wow
Haven't really seen these guys in arena much since their 4th place in Dallas and I'm kind of worried how these guys are going to do in this tournament. Their composition of rogue warlock shaman has been a struggling composition at these LAN tournaments against RMP and cleave. While all three players are ridiculously good, I'm kind of unsure how RLS is going to pan out in Anaheim.
Button Bashers
Button Bashers has recently replaced Hannival with Hiren one of the best rogues in Korea and has stuck with the amazing priest Numberone. I can't wait to see these guys play again since they're so exciting to watch. They are going to be playing RMP and I'm eager to see what they do against Beastcleave. I also can't wait to RMP mirror Orangemarmalade since he'll be in top shape after playing in the GOM TV Korean LAN tournament.

The 2nd place Wild card Team who have really been working hard to do well in this tournament are going to be running Shadow Cleave (Druid, DK, Warlock). I hope these guys can quickly overcome LAN jitters as this is their first ever LAN tournament. This team with Snutz, Massive, and Brogo are really confident against RMP and can be a threat, especially in season 5 gear.
CheckSix
This team currently has a 2nd place finish and a 1st place finish at the MLGs they've attended. The team consisting of Toes, Twixz, and Flex are going to be running the feared beastcleave comp. With a beast mastery hunter, enhancement shaman and a paladin keeping everyone alive it's very hard to stop this team. Beastcleave is known to directly counter RMP and give every other team a hard team because of the insane damage and CC this team has. I expect this team to do really well in Anaheim.
SK Gaming EUROPE
I really feel this is going to be a strong team with their Shadow Cleave (Druid, DK, Warlock) setup. SK veteran Another has always been a top player no matter what class he plays. Inflame is known as the best warlock in the world which is definitely a threat if paired with a great death knight. Look for this team to be running Affliction Warlock, Unholy DK and I expect a top 4 finish for SK.EU.
Evil Geniuses
EG has a new roster consisting of Azael, Tenderloin, and Smatin. Tenderloin and Azael are great players and actually teammates of mine in 5v5. I'm kind of worried how Smatin and Tenderloin are going to adapt to the LAN setting being that they haven't played in one before. Tenderloin was at the regional finals in Cologne but did not actually play since one of his players could not attend. EG is sticking to their RLS setup and if they can do well against RMP and cleave they should not disappoint.
