wNv Teamwork CN have so far played flawlessly in the IEF finals 2009. In the groupstages, wNv manages to win all three of their games, the only close one being versus RS-Gaming (16-14) as they beat the other two opponents with a large margin (25-5 and 24-6). They then faced TyLoo in the semi finals on de_dust2. wNv continued their winning streak, comfortably winning the first half 12-3 as Terrorists. They then won the pistol rounds and only gave away one round to their Chinese friends, leading them to an overall win.

So far, SK Gaming find themselves in the semi finals waiting for their opponent which is to be decided between TitaNs , RS-Gaming and esq.wind . The team to face SK in the semi finals is to be decided through a second groupstage to be played today. The winner of that semi final will then face wNv in the finals which is to be played early tomorrow morning, presumably on the big stage.
