With the 5th season of Extreme Masters now in full swing ESL has announced an online qualifying tournament for the European championship. Just like last season, all teams are welcome to apply to play on ESL's tournament realm and try for a spot in the EM European finals.

Applications close on November 1 and accepted teams will then compete for two weeks in the usual ladder style. The top eight teams from both continents will then join the eight invited teams in a group phase. The 16 teams will be divided into four groups of four and the top two from each group qualifies for the European finals. Full information about the finals is yet to be released but it is likely to be in Cologne again.
