Some important changes to arena play were unleashed on the PTR today. One of the most controversial changes leading up to patch 3.3 was the addition of a "mini-bubble" on rogue's Vanish ability. The tooltip for the previous PTR build read "For the first half second after this ability is used, neither Vanish nor Stealth can be broken by taking damage or being the victim of a hostile spell or ability." But Blizzard has announced the removal of this change, allowing the oldest "bug" in the game to stick around for a while longer.
Another change that will interest arena players is the gladiator set bonuses. The two and four piece set bonuses will get a sizable overhaul, allowing for higher offensive stats:
Elsewhere, Blizzard's attempt to improve frost mages' PvE DPS means more changes for the class. The original idea of Ice Lance crits reducing Frostbolt's cast time was deemed to be too strong and the following change was added instead: "Deep Freeze now deals 1469 to 1741 damage to targets permanently immune to stuns."
Similarly, one of the biggest changes to the priest class was also removed. The glyph of Shadow Word: Pain was designed to make haste effect the damage-over-time ticks. Blizzard has decided to change the glyph once more, allowing it to restore 1% of base mana instead.

"Arena Set Bonuses: The two-piece set bonus for all Wrath of the Lich King Arena sets now provides 100 resilience and 29 spell power or 50 attack power. The current four-piece bonus will remain, however it also now provides 88 spell power or 150 attack power."

/cry. But great fix for rogues tho, this've been wanted for a long long time.. - @ vanish fix
A shame it was removed again.
They don't NEED to remove every dot when you vanish, but if you don't have any dot on you and vanish it should work, but it barely does, unless you're a mage then it always works? whatever, mages vanish better than rogues with vanish, gj Blizzard.
I don't think rogues expect to be immune to dmg when they vanish or whatever, all they want to do is get out of combat and into stealth to either escape or mount another attack, yet as you said after 5 years it still fails, vanish at the moment is like FD without the stealth part, fail ability.
Death knights, paladins sit in their aoe
Hunters have a magic pet
Not that it's a big deal really..
It's been in the game for years and we'll still be whining for a fix next year so w/e
its nice, because rogue's 4/5 set - increases 10 energy lol, 150 ap much better than 10 energy.
