The classic "Blizzard Customer Surveys" continue to go out to people, regardless of whether or not they actually still have a World of Warcraft account. After BlizzCon 2009, the scammers adapted immediately for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. Those World of Warcraft: The Emerald Dream Alpha test invites did not last for long, but they compensated with the exact same email accounts and the same fake login. In order to attempt to be legitimate, the scammers linked all the icons and copyrights to the World of Warcraft website.
Here is an example of the scam:
It certainly would be curious if somebody would actually contact Blizzard by that address to get the specifics of the survey that requires a World of Warcraft login.
These emails come from accounts equal to or similar to noreply@blizzard.com
Here is an example of the scam:

but it's kinda simply not to get scam, just pay attention to what the are asking for because like the Trully Blizzard admins say "We (Blizzard) will never ask for your account login name nor password for anything"
;) still nice post to remember ppl
Blizzard needs to do something when emailing you, like addressing you by your name or some kind of number you can put in your account page(or they can generate one for you), that only blizzard can see, and if they match in the email you know it's from blizzard and that it's official or some similar system to verify that you're getting emaisl from blizzard and not scam companies.
I don't get why they need to hack accounts to make level 1s and shit when you can do that for free? or do they use your 80 to farm gold which Blizzard will get you back within days anyway, but I guess these Chinese wankers will do anything for money.
But people never learn, and you get the idiots who act first and think second, by then some dirty little squint eyed fucker is using your 80 to farm gold and deleting your epix, but they never learn.
Besides... It's always obvious to see scams, at least all the scams I've seen are so obvious it hurts to know that some people fell for it.
