Alhough the organisation "closed its doors temporarily" only a few weeks ago, it seems that the 4Kings motor is still running at high speed behind closed doors. 4K is now the proud owned of ex-nfinity Quake Live squad.

It comes to no surprise that 4Kings picks up the ex-nfinity Quake Live squad as the organisation recently announced their new CEO, Andreas "fisk" Johansson who just so happened to also be the CEO of nfinity which is due to close its doors soon.

That same team recently showed impressive results as they took home gold and silver in the Spontan TDM Cup and the Kuh3 SummerCup Premiership.

The new 4K QuakeLive line up consists of:

Cristian 'dk' Torrents
Kryštof 'krysa' Černý
Zhibo 'Fan Zhibo' Fan
Marcel 'doz3r' von Thomsen
Jan 'jocko' Balada
Julien 'nettah' Chapacou
Marcin 'v3rb' Bogusz
Maciej 'zik' Jakuc

However, RazerJ will only be playing under 4Kings with this line-up for Team Death Match. In all other forms of Quake, such as Dueling, RazerJ will be independent from 4K (not carry their tag), this is his own wish.

Official statement by player 4K^dk:

"I am really proud playing again in the team where everything began for me. Hopefully it will end as well there for me. I’m playing with jocko, doz3r and krysa already for a really long time and I am really happy about the whole team situation and the guys who joined later like jibo, zik and verb. Thanks to fisk who is a great guy offering us joining us 4Kings and thanks for everything 4Kings and sponsors makes possible for us."

Official statement by CEO fisk:

"doz3r and squad played under the tag of nfinity for a couple of months, they achieved a lot, and they're one of the most active Quake Live teams right now. I felt it would be a shame not having them following me to 4Kings, so I asked doz3r and the players, we went through what would be needed and we've now came up with a agreement, I'm very thankful for their loyalty in me and the
continued support, thank you guys."

No official statement has been given yet about a possible Warcraft III or Counter-Strike team. Also no clue has been given as to when the website will be back and the organisation fully into motion though Fisk did previously say that 4K will come back with a bang "early next year".
