ieS Virtual Gaming has released more details of the deal which brought Sai into the Swiss-based team. Many heads were raised yesterday when ieS Virtual Gaming announced that Chenglong 'Sai' Zhou would be joining their lineup. One of those heads belonged to iNow who Sai has been playing for since he left Mousesports earlier this year.
But it now seems that the concerns were exaggerated. ieS has made it clear that Sai's position on the team is part of a loan arrangement. "Sai has joined ieS Virtual Gaming as rented player," said team manager, Eugene 'SkyG' Serov. "He will participate only in the euro leagues for us." The news post on the ieS site specified that the elf player will feature in NGL, WC3L and WCIP.
The Swiss organisation will not be funding Sai's LAN tournaments, but he will still attend under the tag of his Chinese clan. "It remains that Sai is still member of iNow, and he will play LAN tournaments for them," said Serov.
