Dreamhack has announced a German qualifier, a chance for a lucky team to get a ticket in the Grand Final of the 2009 Tour at DreamHack Winter, in Sweden.

The qualification will be held on LAN where four German teams will fight for a ticket to Sweden to fight amongst the other qualified teams world wide.

Two German teams will be invited to the LAN qualification, the other teams have a chance to participate by playing in the qualifier online. Registrations open on the 17th of October at 18:00 CET at playzeek.com . The two winning teams of the online qualification will then be sent to the LAN qualification in order to fight for a chance to go to Jönköping in Sweden.

The LAN qualification will be held in Berlin, on the 24th of October. You can view the games on Saturday via gamesports.de on IPTV video stream, a free stream that doesn't require registration.
