Alchemists, Norway's best team, have found a new home in Oslo Lions after being removed from Vitriolic. They will compete at the upcoming Kode5 qualifier. After being released from the Vitriolic organization, who recently picked up the Polish two-time ESWC champions, the team formerly known as Alchemists have found a new home as Oslo Lions. The team will compete at the Kode5 Norway qualifier, the Norwegian Dreamhack Winter qualifier and in the Extreme Masters European championship.
Oslo Lions lineup:
Tommy 'tacky' Mosgaard
Michael 'mikkis' Sokki
Gunnar 'zEn' Eng
Karl William 'kalle' Haraldsen
Thomas 'Vertigo' Andresen
As Vitriolic the team were best known for temporarily housing REAL, Norway's best player over the past few years, for GameGune and the Extreme Masters Norway Cup. They won the EM Norway cup but were upset at GameGune, losing to the Poruguese k1ck and tying with France's oXmoze, failing to make it out of their group. REAL has since left the team and so the team returns to being one which despite being Norway's best has once again to prove its worth internationally. At ESWC Masters Cheonan four of the five members of this lineup surprised many by placing 4th, beating WeMade Fox, so they will need a similar performance in the Extreme Masters European championship to make themselves relevant again.
