Tensions with Fnatic DotA squad

ImageAfter a relatively short period of rumors related to Fnatic's DotA squad, it has formally been announced that the DotA squad has been dismissed, due to unfortunate circumstances.

There were many rumors about the potential fate of the Fnatic Academy's DotA team, but only today were they formally revealed by FnaticMSI's General Manager, Elroy "Noname" Pinto. The team made up of players Misery, KwoM and Loda were all under contracts from different organizations during the tenure with Fnatic.

Pinto shared some light in an official statement:

"Firstly, it's about time someone from Fnatic issued a statement. We have been silent on several matters, in the past many websites have also never contacted us regarding things. Understandably since people took it for granted that Drunkin represented FnaticMSI and our interests. In fact he was never part of the team or management, he was merely scheduling matches for them.

Secondly, with this new drama that has come up and we didn't get to announce our new player - Miracle who apparently still has a contract with Ks.int from earlier. We'd also like to state that Misery, Kwom & Loda have existing contracts from earlier which are very much legal and binding.

It's unfortunate, since I have even had a conversation with Loda and we're still interested in working things out. At such a crucial point when things need to be settled internally, Drunkin took the liberty to not even wait a minute.

Lastly we want the best possible solution for all the parties involved, we have no interest in hampering players careers but as an organisation we will also not be bullied and completely maintain our interests till the very end. In the coming days we shall have a proper announcement to make."
