mTw.dk's in-game leader ave has been interviewed by fragster in German and in English. He discusses mTw.dk's tactical style, the approach they take with counterflashing and why Sunde's play has become less effective than in 2008.Denmark's finest in-game leader Alexander 'ave' Holdt has been interviewed over at fragster. In the interview, which appears to have been translated from German to English, they discuss mTw.dk's drop in form from their stellar 2008. Other topics include Sunde's role within the team in light of his high level of exposure now and how they counter the kinds of attacks which have made fnatic so successful in 2009.
ave talks about using his AWPer Sunde:
On fnatic's "no-flash-go" rushes:
mTw.dk were a top contender in 2007 placing 2nd at ESWC and WCG but it was in 2008, with whiMp joining, that the team became the world's best Counter-Strike squad. Then followed a run which saw them pick up 1st at Kode5, ESWC Masters, WEM and WCG all within the same year. Now, with trace replacing whiMp, and a string of less satisfactory results in 2009 the team is still looking to figure out what the missing piece to the puzzle is of overcoming fnatic and reclaiming their top spot.

ave talks about using his AWPer Sunde:
"We switch him around the map all the time, so people can't really depend on him being there. But most teams play with the mindset of he could be there, so it's starting to get harder for him to play his different "firstkill spots"
On fnatic's "no-flash-go" rushes:
"On some maps it's like you're 2vs5 as CT if T just sneak close and rush without grenades. It's something we try to emulate on some maps, cause it's really effective in some situations. Also, we got some different setups as CT that should do better against these kinds of attacks, cause it's something that's getting more popular."
