The bracket portion of the Counter-Strike tournament for EM Global Challenge Chengdu is now in place and it sees SK-gaming facing EG.USWith the group stage done it is bracket play next in the Counter-Strike tournament in Chengdu and the draws have been announced.
TyLoo vs. Mousesports
SK Gaming vs. Evil Geniuses
TitaNs vs. fnatic
wNv Teamwork CN vs. WeMade FOX
The matchup which immediately jumps out is SK.swe against EG.usa. The irony being that if EG helped TitaNs along a bit in their loss to get 2nd place then they drew the one team of the four winners they did not want to face. Meanwhile we have a rematch of the EM III Asia finals with wNv.cn facing WeMadeFox, albeit with wNv.cn not having exactly the same lineup as in that encounter.
fnatic should look to make quick work of TitaNs though with TyLoo scoring the upset win which can not be at all disputed, with it being the second game of the tournament, their matchup against Germany's Mouz will be an interesting one for fans to keep theirs eyes.
The winner of TyLoo-Mouz will play the winner of EG-SK, while the winner of TitaNs-fnatic will play the winner of WeMadeFox-wNv.cn. With fnatic having arguably the easier side of the bracket one could imagine an SK-fnatic or Mouz-fnatic final at this point.
