Next on the list of upsets at Chengdu is Singapore's TitaNs beating EG.usa on nuke in group C. Thus eliminating mibr from the tournament.Following fnatic's loss to TyLoo and Mousesports' loss to wNv.cn comes another upset here in Chengdu. TitaNs , natives of Singapore, have beaten the GameGune Mexico champions Evil Geniuses on nuke. After an even first half the Singaporean team ran away with it in the second.
Evil Geniuses 9:16 TitaNs (nuke, 7:8, 2:8)
Fans will now be left to speculate on the validity of that upset since firstly it eliminates mibr from the tournament and secondly it means EG gets to go through in 2nd, meaning they won't face Mouz or fnatic who would have been very dangerous for them. Whether it was an amazing performance from TitaNs or a lackluster effort from EG it is certainly interesting they are beaten so convincingly in such circumstances on a map they completely annihilated WeMadeFox on at GameGune Mexico.
