The fourth installment of the Extreme Masters fourth season continues its journey, this time to Chengdu, the home of the upcoming World Cyber Games. The tournament is being held in the specifically designed "eSports Arena" just on the outskirts of the Happy Valley, a popular theme park brand in China. As usual Christopher 'GeT_RiGhT' Alesund is the first of the players to arrive, further demonstrating his commitment to his profession, as well as sporting a new hairstyle.
Although at times the eSports Arena has the feel of a warehouse, the fact it is designed for the specific purpose of eSports competition shows through in particular with the player area kitted out with a slick setup and comfortable formula one style chairs.
So far it seems likely the tournament could be slightly delayed, as only Fnatic and wNv have arrived thus far. SK Gaming will be covering the event from Chengdu, China, with video coverage throughout the three days as best we can, if internet permits.
