WoW returns to ESL TV

ImageIt has been months since WoW last appeared regularly on ESL TV. Now that wait has come to an end as Zalmah and 2GD return with WoW Overload.

World of Warcraft has been distinctly absent from ESL since the last Extreme Masters tournament back in August. But today the broadcasters have announced the return of regular WoW discussion on a weekly basis. WoW Wednesday's legacy will be known as WoWverload and begins on Monday October 5 at 22:00.

Well known faces, Zalmah and 2GD will return, alongside tournament admin, Shawn. The trio will be made into a foursome when a new host is announced live on the first episode next week.

The content will change significantly, as PvE takes more of a driving seat. From the press release: "We're especially excited about our brand new call-in segment where viewers will be encouraged to voice their opinions, vent their frustrations and insult our hosts." The ever-popular "gotbeef?" segment has also survived the transition and will run right through every episode with the help from the phone-in format.

News about the PvP content was scarce, but 2GD assured viewers that the show will remain true to its roots. "I guess for many it will feel like season 2 of WoW Wednesdays," he said. "Our goal is simple, to entertain and inform you."

You can catch the first episode live on ESL TV next Monday.
