Blizzard Entertainment has just revealed their newly-refurbished website that brings out the better community elements that exist for their upcoming Battle.net 2.0 service. As far back as Blizzard Entertainment has gone, they have held the same exact style and format for their Official website. However, they just now released an entirely-new format that compliments the upcoming re-vamped community that is expected to shine in Battle.net 2.0.
The new website includes a front and center display that shows their current projects, which at the present time, include StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, Diablo III, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King and BlizzCon. A new animative element has been added to the artwork displayed in the viewer that compliments the various cinematic elements that are common for their products' individual websites. The front page also includes the link for the World of Warcraft Magazine and employment opportunities, which has been updated for 2010 internships.
As provided on the Current News Page:
* Games section: The updated games section includes links to our current projects as well as detailed information for all of our previously released games, including trailers, screenshots, concept art, wallpapers, and more.
* Company section: This section is all about Blizzard Entertainment as a company – it features our company profile, core values, partners, career opportunities, event information, and updated press center.
* Community section: This is your first stop for all community-related Blizzard Entertainment content, including the Blizzard Insider email newsletter archive, past and current contests, our fan art gallery, and BlizzCast, our official podcast.
