ImageAt the American World Cyber Games qualifier things are about to heat up as the four teams who progress to bracket play have been decided. EG, coL, Dynamic and Turmoil will fight it out now.

At the USA WCG qualifier things began on Friday with the matches in the two groups. Of these groups two teams would emerge from each to move on and play in the bracket play section of the tournament. From group A compLexity and Dynamic moved on, while in group B it was EG and Turmoil who made it out alive. The teams will meet on Sunday to decide the USA's representative in China.

Group A saw compLexity handily take care of everyone to move on as expected, with the only even vaguely close result for them being a tie with Dynamic. That tie proved crucial to Dynamic as it gained them an extra point over Frag Dominant who had the same number of wins. Frag Dominant's big slipup came when they lost to infamy, had this not have taken place they were many people's bet to move on with coL. Interestingly if coL can win this WCG qualifier it would mark the first time compLexity has ever won the spot, a surprising fact as many forget during coL's dominance 3D were still always able to grab the spot.

Group B was more interesting as it wasn't cut and dry that EG and Turmoil would advance. Loaded have a roster of ex-top pros and aZn's immortal 7 no doubt had a cheering section. Regardless it was the GameGune winners and 3rd place finishers who made it out. EG are playing with a ringer, tuBBy, in place of lurppis but have looked to be fine as they beat Turmoil 19-11 in their matchup. Turmoil took of everyone else with their only difficult game being a big comeback by hazard's excello team.

coL will play Turmoil at 4:30pm CET Sunday.
