mTw.dk, who recently picked up Trace in place of whiMp, are set to compete at the Arbalet Cup in December. The event, which will be held in Sweden, also sees some other top teams on its participants list. The fairly well known Eastern European competition the Arbalet Cup will be going to Stockholm, Sweden, for an event this December and it seems a number of notable teams will be making the trip. 2008's team of the year mTw.dk will be in attendance, as will the former Wicked side and Team Alternate. The event is set to take place from the 4th to the 6th of December and will feature a $25,000 prize purse.
Event list so far:
k23
KerchNET
Virtus.Pro
forZe
mTw
Ex-WICKED eSports
ledpc
Team ALTERNATE
Prize purse:
1st $13,000
2nd $8,000
3rd $4,000
The other teams in attendance such as Ledpc, Virtus.Pro and fan favourites k23 should make things interesting as they all have the ability to beat one another and perhaps surprise the bigger names on a map. This will also mark an important test for mTw.dk as with a field thusfar lacking the likes of fnatic, Mouz and SK-gaming they will be heavily favoured to take the title and should they fail to questions will be asked. Into the breach of that scenario the former Wicked side march with a golden opportunity to score a major victory over mTw.dk and make the statement that they are still a top 3 team in the world of Counter-Strike regardless of the organizational quagmire they find themselves in still.
