DotA v6.63b Released

ImageOnly three days following the release of the latest, vastly-improved version of DotA, IceFrog has held his word and produced a new balancing patch that has already gained tremendous applause.

In DotA Version 6.63, IceFrog did a massive overhaul of the heroes, specifically the two latest heroes, the Tauren Chieftan and the Batrider. These changes involved reducing the Tauren Chieftan's area of effect by a large portion and cutting his casting range in half. The Batrider's notable change was reducing his damage by a full eighteen points, lowering the hero's melee capabilities significantly. There are many other adjustments, but those being the most-controversial of heroes, deserve some special recognition.

The latest patch focuses specifically upon fixing common and rare breeds of exploits that disrupt the overall gameplay of DotA. IceFrog has not commented upon the specifics of the fixes, but needless to say, the issues will no longer be a concern.

On a further note, Kendrick "Kunkka" Lim has been unable to provide a revised gallery piece until today. This is all due to his military service, therefore explaining the wait time for the new loading graphic.

Changelog
* Fixed an exploit possible with Puck
* Armlet recipe now changed to include Quarterstaff instead of Blades of Attack (bonuses and total price unaffected)
* Fixed Wrath of Nature from targeting couriers
* Fixed a bug with Spirit Bear's entangle and overgrowth
* Fixed Heart icon on the endgame scoreboard
* Undid a couple of the fun names recently added
* Fixed a rare abuse that could cause other users performance to drop
