Yoan 'ToD' Merlo may have been the best French WarCraft III player in the past but in winning the WCG France qualifier he has shown that his brief retirement has not robbed him of his position domestically. The Human player was able to overcome aAa's William 'SyDe' Rochet in the final to claim his place in the grand finals which will be held in Chengdu, China, where he will seek his first gold medal after a bronze in 2004 and a silver in 2006. According to mymym ToD did not lose a single map on his way to the victory.
