ImageThe French team iGamerz has been officially disqualified from the Extreme Masters 4 international draw qualification system. Their player, Diodel, was caught cheating in an ESL match.

France's iGamerz have seen their hopes of qualifying for the Extreme Masters season 4 European Continental Championship dashed thanks to a poor decision from one of their players. Rodolphe 'Diodel' Verloës was caughting cheating during an official ESL match and as a result has been barred from the league for 2 years. This also means his team, iGamerz, now have to leave the Extreme Masters as well as the French domestic ESL Pro Series.

To remedy this difficult situation ESL has taken the following actions:

"Since iGamerz dropped out of the European Counter-Strike tournament D4gaming moves up from the Qualification Round 1 and will replace them in the Qualification Round 2. We will present a French substitute as soon as possible, which will play against Virtuoso.cs in Qualification Round 1."

iGamerz, short for infernal Gamerz, have victories over Millenium and emuLate this year so far. Their replacements D4gaming are composed of a number of the most famous French gamers of the last 6 years. In recent times their successes have been limited though. At ESWC Masters last year d4 drew one of the toughest groups which saw them only able to win against SoA before losing to Roccat, mibr and fnatic. All the same, names like OliGan and MaYeRs will always be welcomed by fans of great CS, particularly in France.
